Gallery Wall Reveal

In our family room area there was a slightly awkward wall that I wasn't sure what to do with. There is a window on this wall and with the way our furniture is set up, there was an empty wall over our loveseat but not centered over the loveseat, next to the window. I totally forgot to take a picture of the wall blank before I started and in all of my pictures I can't find a good one where you can see the wall... all well!

Anyways, I finally decided that a gallery wall would be perfect to put here so I started gathering frames, made a couple things and finally got it all up this weekend.
I love how it came out! :)

Here is a little closer look at it and how I created it.

I started by laying everything out on the floor and played around with the layout.

I then traced each item with craft paper just like I did when I created my plate wall and labeled each piece.
I hung them up like my layout on the floor and adjusted them slightly as I went.

I then just took down the corresponding piece of paper when it came time to hang that actual item leaving the rest up so I was placing everything right where I wanted it.
Super Simple!

Here is a closer shot of the left side.
I hung a large newborn picture of P in a frame I found at Michael's.
My special dates printable all framed in a frame I found at Hobby Lobby.
The empty yellow frame is from Michael's and I just painted it yellow.
Then the two other frames I already had.

I love how my printable looks in this frame! :)

Here is the center section of my wall.
My dad made the "Home is where the Army sends us" sign.
The yellow frame is also from Hobby Lobby. It was actually a darker yellow that I repainted.
I created the monogram plaque.
I framed a print in a frame I found at World Market.
And the other two frames were new frames I found at Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

Here is an up close shot of the sign my dad made for us.
Each star has the state, name of base, and years we were there on them.
I added little pink feet to the one for our current station, Fort Carson, to indicate that P was born here.

I made this monogram plaque.
Super simple and will be sharing a tutorial for it soon!

I've had this print for some time now and am so happy to finally have it framed and up!
I LOVE this frame from World Market as well!

Far left side:
I hung two frames I already had and then hung my new Chevron Frame, which I LOVE, from Home Studios.
I snagged the chevron frame from Very Jane when they were having a deal and also bought a gray one for P's room.

I love how my wall came out and am so glad to have it complete!
Now I just need to add pictures to the empty frames and replace all the old pictures in the other small frames!
