4 Month Fun with Miss P

P just turned 5 months old on the 24th. Seriously?! Time is FLYING!!!

I can not believe how much she changes everyday and how her little personality is shining through more and more. 

Here is a recap of P's 4th month.

 Like every month, on her 4 month birthday we had to do a little photo shoot. 

At the beginning of the month she was ALL out doing the pouty lips!

And when she does it, she breaths really loud through her nose... goof ball! 

Monogram Plaque

Do you remember my monogram plaque from my gallery wall reveal last week?

  I didn't want ALL frames on my wall and wanted some form of a monogram for our last name and this idea came to mind.

It is such a simple project and doesn't take much time at all either. It is similar to how I created the Stenciled Initial Cavases for P's room.

Gallery Wall Reveal

In our family room area there was a slightly awkward wall that I wasn't sure what to do with. There is a window on this wall and with the way our furniture is set up, there was an empty wall over our loveseat but not centered over the loveseat, next to the window. I totally forgot to take a picture of the wall blank before I started and in all of my pictures I can't find a good one where you can see the wall... all well! 

Anyways, I finally decided that a gallery wall would be perfect to put here so I started gathering frames, made a couple things and finally got it all up this weekend.
I love how it came out! :)

Fall Fever... My Fall Decor

Thought I would share my fall decor today. 

 It isn't too much. I don't really go over the top with the fact that we move so often and I have to store everything but here is what I did put out. I sure do wish I had a mantle to decorate though! 

I'll start outside:

 I just put out my new Halloween flag. 

I thought it was cute and not TOO Halloweeny.

I have another flag that I put out for just fall that is our monogram with a red berry wreath on it. 

I bought some hay bales, mums, pumpkins and some pansies and made a little fall setup on my porch.

I would normally put out my large glitter pumpkins but they need some touching up and with the wild winds we have here, they probably wouldn't stay put so I just got the real ones this year.

Bedroom Makeover... Yes Please!!

We've been in our house for just shy of a year and our bedroom is still a work in progress. 

Travis and I tackled painting the room right before he deployed and then I added the stencil on the wall and that is about it after just plopping our furniture in the room.

Yes, we bought a whole set of furniture instead of mixing and matching pieces but we both liked it so we did it. Eh! 

Gotta love the ottoman next to the bed for our pooch, Oscar, to use to get on the bed to sleep with me at night. 

And oh yeah... P's bassinet is still hanging out in there as well even though she hasn't slept in it for, uh, 3 mths or so! 

Good stuff, good stuff! lol 

To say the least, it needs some help! Big time! 

We have a very large room so there is some empty space that could be filled up, on top of pictures on the wall and a few other finishing touches.

Do You have a Fall Favorite? #favefallcraft

Fall is here! 

There is no denying it now with the cooler temperatures and changing leaves.

This is definitely one of the best times to get crafty and decorate your home for the season and the holidays.
I know I enjoy it and that so many of you as well do as well.

"Annual Broom Rides" Halloween Sign

I was shopping at Home Goods one afternoon and came across a sign in their Halloween decor that said "Annual Witch Rides" and thought it was really cute and knew that I could easily create my own. 

I didn't like that it said "Witch Rides" though because well... you don't ride a witch, lol, so I changed it to "Broom Rides" instead.

 

This is a super simple project! 

Here's the how-to:

 Supplies:

- Vinyl

- Paint and Mod Podge

- Ribbon (optional)

- Wood or Canvas (I already had this piece of wood that was from an old desk we had so I just used that.)

- Cutting Machine

Tasty Tuesday- Comfort Foods

I was browsing Kraft Foods website and came across some yummy looking comfort food recipes. 

Plus, with the nights getting cooler, they would make the perfect warm meal that also makes your home smells delicious! 

I so can't wait for Travis to come home so I can actually make some of these recipes and well, cook again.

Special Dates Printable

I have been working on a gallery wall for my living room for a few weeks now and hope to get it up on the wall soon so I can share it with you guys. 

I am using pictures, along with signs and some prints/printables to make up my gallery wall.

I've seen the "Special Dates" printable in a few different places on the web (a.steed's life and kojo designs) and thought this would be so simple to make and include in my wall. 

I created it using PicMonkey. I just loaded a picture and just covered it with a white rectangle and then used the fonts in PicMonkey to write out my special dates. SIMPLE! 

I then just saved it to my computer and printed it on some white cardstock on my printer at home as a 8x10 print.

 I just put it in a frame and I can't wait to put it on my wall. 

So fast and simple. I love it!

Tasty Tuesday- Manners meet the Internet

This November A Glimpse Inside will be 3 years old. Crazy! 

And over these past few years blogging has changed... A LOT! 

People would actually visit your blog and used to comment, a good deal, and many friendships were created. But with the creation of Pinterest, even though it is a fabulously wonderful resource, all things changed. 

People RARELY comment anymore and in fact, they rarely visit blogs as well.

The 3 Month Adventures of Miss P

Holy cow! 

P just turned 4 months old on the 24th... CRAZY!! 

Time is passing WAY too fast but on the other hand it is getting closer to Travis coming home (70 days +/- a few but who's counting?).

Here are some pictures of Miss P's adventures during her 3rd month of life.

She is getting super fun and doing some super fun things now so it is always exciting to see what new thing she will do each day.

 Of course, on her 3 month birthday we had our little photo shoot. 

 We went down to a farm for a Sunday afternoon and went apple picking. We had to stop and take a picture as sunflowers while we were there.
