Easy Valentine Stamped Blocks

Here is the last project I created for my Valentine's Day decor on my mantle.
It is another super easy and cheap project which is always great!
This project was free for me since I had everything on hand already... love using stuff from my LARGE stash of supplies, but if you had to buy the supplies it wouldn't be very expensive.

Ready to see how I made them?
Here ya go!

 Supplies:
-Wooden Blocks
-Paint
-Stamp
-Ink
-Scrapbook alphabet letters stickers

I figured out what saying I wanted on the blocks and pulled out the number of blocks I would need.  I then gave the blocks 2 coats of paint.

Once the paint was dry, I pressed the ink onto the stamp. I did it this way instead of putting the stamp onto the ink so I could make sure the stamp was good and covered in ink.

The width of my stamp was slightly smaller than the width of my block so I just tried to center the stamp on the block and pressed firmly.

I made sure not to move the stamp while pressing on it then carefully removed it.
If you do mess up, it is ok. Just paint back over it!

I applied the stamp only on 5 out of the 6 sides since you wouldn't see the bottom of the block but you could definitely stamp all 6 sides.

Once the ink was dry, which doesn't take long at all, I just took the scrapbook alphabet stickers and spelled out what I wanted them to say by placing a letter on each block. Rubbing them good to make sure they stayed put.

I decided to make a puple set as well.

I placed my white, love blocks on the left side of the mantle.

Then I placed the purple, XOXO blocks on the right side.

I used some small blocks but they still added just enough to the finished mantle.
