I shared this post over at Skip to my Lou back on 6/26/14 but in case you didn't see it there, I want to share it with all of you today!
Miss P is finally at the age that she can do all sorts of fun activities and I like being able to make things for her to play with since I know what went into it.
So I created some 3D Chalk and it was a blast and I have the recipe for you today.
Here is how you can make some for your kids to enjoy.
-1/2 cup of Cornstarch
-2 tablespoons of Four
-1/4 cup of water
-Baggies or bottles
Mix well together until a thick paste is formed. If your mixture is very dry, slowly add a little water until the mixture is like thick paste.
I cleaned out some old acrylic paint bottle and put the chalk inside. Worked much better for Miss P than teaching her how to hold and squeeze the baggie.
If using the baggie, just cut the tip of one of the corners off to use. You could even place in a frosting bag and use frosting tips for you kids to get real creative with!
It is almost like silly putty so you can make balls with it and combine the colors before it fully dries.
To clean up, just rinse off with water.
And don’t worry if it gets all over your child’s clothes! It just wipes right off and if any color is left behind, it will come out in the wash.
It really is loads of fun!
