Take a peek inside!

Hi, my name is Ashley and I blog over at My Craftily Ever After. I share a mix of things, but mostly recipes, crafts and home improvement projects. I am a stay at home mom to three little ones so everything I do has to fit into that schedule! I'd love it if you'd come over and follow along as I create my own fairy tale ending!

When I first heard about Allison's What's in your Bag series I loved it! I love getting a glimpse inside other bloggers lives and there is no better way to learn something about someone than a quick glance in their purse!
I am a recent purse wearer. After 8+ years of hauling around kids and diaper bags I finally decided to take back my shoulder and start carrying something for myself! So, when my sister came to visit and she was carrying this amazing coral bag I knew that I needed it. Luckily she is pretty awesome and so she just let me have it, aren't sisters the best! :) my purse

What's in Your Handbag Series- Karly from Paisley Roots

Welcome Karly from Paisley Roots!
She is sharing the contents of her handbag with you all today.

Hey! I'm Karly from Paisley Roots and I'm here to show what I keep in my handbag.

I'll start with my bag. It's a Jo Totes Gracie that I won competing on Project Run and Play.
It's a camera bag but it is soooo big!

I have 3 dividers at the bottom, as well as 2 inside zippered pockets on each side.
Then it has two pockets and a zipper pocket on the front and one open pocket with another small zip pocket inside that on the back.
TONS of space!

Giant Lantern Ice Cream Cone Decorations

**This post contains Affiliate Links**

While searching for party decoration ideas for Miss P's party I ran across these on Pinterest and had to hunt down the full idea. Finally found them on Pottery Barn Kids and kept the idea in my head but wasn't sure if I would use it.
Once I fully had the theme pinned down, I decided these would be super cute to create and rather fast to make as well.

I love how they turned out and they were so fun for the party!

Here is how you can make some for yourself.

The 7 Month Adventures of Miss S

Seriously guys?!
Why is it when you were younger you felt like time DRAGGED by but now that you are older and have kids time just FLIES?!

How is Miss S seriously 7 mths old already?
Boo!

Here is a little recap of her adventures from this past month.
Unfortunately, my darn phone decided to factory reset itself and I lost some super cute pics from this past month that I didn't upload anywhere else yet so I am super upset about that but it is what it is now.

Monthly photo shoot shots.
My mom made the cute watermelon patch just like she has made every patch for the girls.

Everything you see is the below photo was all that was in my purse. Only one thing is missing…. receipts. Lots and lots of receipts!

"America the Beautiful" Printable

I am teaming up today with a ton of other bloggers to share all things Red, White, and Blue!

We are getting you completely prepared to celebrate America on the 4th of July.

I designed this "America the Beautiful" free printable for you all.
(The word beautiful is misspelled in this picture but the print is fixed and updated for you to download below with the proper spelling.)

I designed it as an 8x10 print but you could easily print it smaller if that suits your fancy.
I just printed it out on some nice card stock and used my paper cutter to trim it down.

Ice Cream Birthday Party Decorations

**This post contains affiliate links**

As I previously shared, Miss P is officially 2!!
The theme of her party was an Ice Cream Party theme and I think I may like how this party turned out better than her 1st Birthday, but only by a little bit! ;)

I decided to throw her a party about 2 1/2-3 weeks before her birthday so I really had to go full swing into party planning mode once that decision was made!
Luckily, I knew that I wanted to do an ice cream party for quite some time so that was a big help when it came time to figuring out what I wanted to create or design.

Onto all the details!

Here are the invitations I created:
I made these using Photoshop Elements.
I bought the ice cream cone image and the bunting flags on Etsy and they came together in a small digital design kit.
The rest of the elements, I already had and just coordinated all the colors.

I will start outside and work my way through the house with the decorations.

Guests were greeted with this chalkboard sign I created.
I bought the sign at Wal-Mart and then just used Chalk Markers to decorate it.

Wallternatives Wall Decal Review

**This post is sponsored by Wallternatives but all opinions are 100% my own!**

We have a large tv that is big and dark.

Above the tv was one of those last name photo collages made of pictures of letters found in architecture, my brother-in-law gave it to us for Christmas one year.

It is a black and white photo in a black frame so it just added to the darkness and I was READY for a change.

Insert a new line from Royal Design Studio Stencils called Wallternatives.

Here is a description of what Wallternatives straight from the source:
"Wallternatives™ ARE the artful alternative to ordinary walls. At Wallternatives™, our goal is to provide easily applied Pattern for the People™. That’s you! And not just any old patterns! We want you to have your choice of the most delightful pattern options, offered across a variety of material options to suit every design demand and surface requirement. We are committed to empowering you to create a home that is more colorful, more fun, more expressive, and more designed around “you” without investing a lot of time!"

Wallternatives come in many options and tons of colors to choose from as well:
- WallPrints™ Fabric Decals
-ChalkTalk™ Chalkboard Art
- Designer Vinyl Decals
-WallAppeal™ Removable Wallpaper (COMING SOON)
- EtchLook™ Decals to look like etched glass(COMING SOON)

I had the opportunity to receive and review a Wallternative design before their launch.
I was able to pick the design and the color of the design that I wanted.
