Paper Flower Corsage

I am officially at SNAP in Utah hoping to get my blogging spark back and having a blast with all my blog friends in real life.

But while I am away, I actually have a creative post for you today! YAY!!

I have teamed up with Abbey from The Cards We Drew and a whole bunch of blog friends to give you another Ultimate Blog Hop with ideas for Crafts in a SNAP {15 Minute Craft Ideas} so that ANYONE, whether beginner or seasoned pro, can learn to create fun and handmade items in no time at all!
Crafts in a SNAP 15 Minute Craft Ideas

For my Craft in a Snap, I created a fun paper flower corsage to share with you that you can make for yourself, give it as a gift for Mother's Day, or perhaps give it to a teacher for Teacher Appreciation.

Here's is how I created it.

-Scrapbook paper
-Hot Glue Gun
-Colored Chalk- optional
-Alligator or pin clip
-Cutting Machine (I used my Silhouette)
-Rhinestone or brad

I used my Silhouette machine to create the flowers for my corsage. I browsed the 3d flower images and when I saw something I like I opened it in my software and cut it out in 2 different sizes.

The image will cut with each layer of the flower separated.

Before I peeled the petals off the mat, I took my chalk and added different colors to the edges of the flower to give it a little more dimension.

I then peeled off the petals and stacked and glued them together. Only put a small dot right in the center of the flower.

Then using a pencil or your finger, curl the petals to give your flower a more dimension. I placed a rhinestone in the center for a little bling.

You could also curl each petal before gluing the flower together. Just roll each petal around a pencil.

Glue the flowers and leaves to some felt and then trim the felt so you don't see it while you are wearing it.

Glue an alligator or broach clip to the felt so you can wear it.

If giving this as a gift, cut our a small tag and write anything you want on it!
I wrote #1 Mom for a gift for mom and then Best Teacher for a teacher gift.

It is a super fun accessory that anyone would love to wear!

Be sure to check out all the other great craft ideas that you can complete in a snap!
