{Feature Friday} #31

Man, I am doing terrible at blogging lately!
Posts are going live when they are suppose to. I accidentally posts things early. Or I have just been busy or have zero motivation to create anything exciting to blog about. Eek!! This was so not my goal.
I am going to try to do better, promise, but things are going to be pretty rough for us in the next coming months as we prep for our upcoming move so I will do my best!!

Anyways, onto today's features from last week's Handmade Hangout Party.

{Feature Friday} #30

Happy Friday everyone!
How is the weather in your part of the country?
Are you in a warm climate? Do you live in the icy tundra that has been the south this week? Or trapped in the mounting snow of the Northeast?

It hasn't been too bad here in CO but we are suppose to get slammed pretty hard this weekend... JOY!

Enough about the weather... how about some awesome features from last week's Handmade Hangout Party?! Well here ya go!!

No-Sew Valentine Heart Pockets

Every Valentine's Day, Travis and I exchange little love notes to one another in our little mailbox. It is just a simple way to remind each other how much we care for each other.

Now that the girls are a little older, I thought it would be fun to get them in on the action as well and created these to put on their chairs. It isn't exactly a new idea but I think they are fun and I look forward to using them for years to come! I can't wait until they can give each other fun little letters and small gifts too!

They are so easy and quick to make as well so you can make some for your kiddos!

Supplies:
-2 Felt Hearts (I bought these at Michael's)
-Felt
-Hot Glue Gun
-Scissors
-Needle and Thread (optional)
-Ribbon

My Whole 30 Adventure- Week 4 plus My Before & After Pics

Final week of Whole 30!
I made it to the end! I feel like this month dragged, lol, but I am happy that I made it to the end even though I did slip a little.

Here is a run down at what I ate during my last week.

Day 22:

What I ate:
Breakfast: Sunny side eggs with strawberries and bananas

Lunch: Forgot to take a photo but I just ate left over chicken from a few nights before and carrots.

Dinner: I made the Balsamic Roast I created at the start of Whole 30 again and then had green beans and steamed cauliflower and carrots on the side.

Snack: No snacks

Drank water all day

Today was much better. Still not happy with the news we found out yesterday but I have to suck it up and drive on. I am seeing changes in my body so I want to see this through until the end.

My Valentine's Day Mantle

February has arrived (say what?!) so I thought it is the perfect time to share my Valentine's Day decorations.

It probably looks pretty familiar to last year's mantle, and it is.
I pretty much did it the same way with a few new additions.

I kept the old window on the mantle and placed my 14 plaque and some garlands on it once again.
On the mantle around the window I placed a lantern with a purple candle, my stamped blocks, a marquee M, printable sign, felt tree, and some candle sticks.
I then hung my two garlands on the front of the mantle once again.
