MHCT&M: Unique Master Bedroom Wall Treatments

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!

We are back once again with more ideas for your Master Bedroom.

Master bedrooms are your personal sanctuaries inside your home so why not make them unique with a wall treatment. They add texture and can dress up the space depending on the type of wall treatment.
They can be bold or more neutral for a touch of warmth but they can help bring the whole room the feel that you are looking for without completely breaking your budget if you opt to only do it on an accent wall.

Make a grid using board and batten on one wall and paint it all the same color for a subtle effect.

Double Raised Panel Wall from Rogue Engineer
For a more elegant look, create a double raised panel effect on your wall.

Dark Gray Board and Batten Wall Treatment from Thrifty Decor Chick
Another simple treatment you can place on the wall is the traditional board and batten treatment. Again, paint it all the same color for the texture or paint them two different colors for contrast.

Plank Wall Tongue and Groove Wall Treatment from Home Stories A to Z
A plank wall effect is always an easy treatment you can add to one wall. This wall was created using tongue and groove boards for a solid wall but you still see the spaces between the boards.

Square Geometric Wall Treatment from Instagram
You can also go geometric with your wall treatment.
Squares, diamonds, rectangles, the options are endless.

Reverse Shiplap Wall Treatment from My Sister's Suitcase
Wall treatments don't have to be expensive.
Check out this reverse shiplap effect using pvc composite boards.
I really love this look!

Looking for a more rustic look? Add barnwood to one wall and for added pattern, lay it in a herringbone pattern instead of straight across the wall.

Modern Wood Square Wall Treatment from Contemporist
Go modern with a whole wall of large stained wood pieces. Definitely will warm up a space and make a big impact in your space.

Bold Accent Wallpaper Wall from Hunker
 Looking for color?
How about wallpapering a feature wall with a bold, colorful pattern?
There are so many wallpaper options out there that the possibilities are endless!

Painted Feature Wall from City Farmhouse
Another inexpensive  wall treatment is to create the look of molding using painters tape and paint. Tape off your pattern and then paint over it. Peel the tape off to reveal your pattern.
You can also use a gloss paint to create a subtle sheen pattern on the wall.

Do you like any of these enough to add them to your master?
Do you have a wall treatment in your master?
If so, tell us what you have in the comments!
